Why We're Unique

We used to use diamonds and gold as a universal currency, but in March of 2021, we voted to change this when members decided the currency made many things that should be fairly cheap very expensive: like powered minecart tracks.  We now use Gold₦ote, our own specific currency, made of written books titled with their values, as a way to track the value of people's local currencies. There is 1,000,000₦ worth of Gold₦ote in circulation.

Our community is comprised of all different types of players, and as a result, we have to support many different play styles. Our main focus is for the casual player. Most of the Realm was built to accommodate casual gameplay because it's the closest thing to a "one size fits all" you can get in Minecraft, but we have recently been trying to better accommodate different playstyles with the addition of such things as  the role "@Assassinatable" in our discord which allows players to partake in PvP; Waring which allows for players to partake in larger scale PvP, and grand strategy; Olympic games, which will soon allow competitive minigame players to feel right at home; and of course, our currencies, which allow for players to partake in a functioning economy if they so choose.

As you can see, we have many playstyles available besides the default Minecraft experience.

After every major update is dropped on the realm, it goes offline for a few hours, where we save the existing structures and unload unused chunks to keep the file size low, and to keep the new generation coming.
